About Us

Rev. Dr. Roberta "Bobby" Cabot

I have been with the love of my life, Sam, for 34 years.  We met when I walked into the bar he owned.  We struggled in our relationship for many years, and most likely would not still be married if we had not been born-again in Christ.

Jesus not only healed us personally, but healed our relationship as well!  When I met Sam he had three daughters and four grandchildren.  The family has grown over the years to six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

I experienced my call to ministry shortly after I was born again.  I spent a year studying at Western Seminary in Holland, MI.  I transferred after one year to Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY, where I graduated with a Masters of Divinity and a second Masters of Biblical Studies.

I needed the M.Div for ordination in the UMC. I stayed for the second Masters because I wanted to study the Scriptures more intensely.  Doing so helped me understand the story of Scripture and how we fit into it.  We cannot know who we are if we don’t know our story!

After three years in ministry, I enrolled in a doctoral program at Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio.  I completed my doctorate in Formational Counseling, which is a three-prong discipline including inner healing prayer, spiritual formation, and counseling.

In 2009 I asked my Bishop if I could serve my church half-time for six months so I could birth Kingdom Life Healing Ministries.  Both he and my church agreed, and KLHM became a reality.

I offer a 4 ½ day Healing School entitled “Experiencing the God who Heals.” The School focuses primarily on inner healing. It offers cognitive and experiential opportunities so participants both gain knowledge and experience Christ in transformative ways. I also offer one day or weekend healing seminars for churches interested in getting their toes wet in the stream of healing of body, mind and emotions.
